During today's (05/03/24) regular briefing of the international media of the United Nations (UN), the Representative of the Secretary-General, Mr. Stéphane Dujarric reported that Mr. Guterres' Personal Envoy for Cyprus Ms. María Ángela Holguín will be in London from 7 to 8 March for meetings with UK officials. She added that these follow her meetings in Athens and Ankara last month, thus completing her first visits to the three guarantor powers.
Dujarric also said that after London she will go to Cyprus, where she is expected to meet with the Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot leaders, Nicos Christodoulides and Ersin Tatar, respectively. During her stay in Cyprus, Ms. Holguín will also continue her contacts with a wide range of interlocutors, with a focus on listening to the concerns and aspirations of local stakeholders.
