The Ministry of Health informs the consuming public that the Ministry's Health Services, as part of their official market controls, have taken samples of the product listed here, in which, following laboratory tests at the accredited laboratories of the General State Laboratory, the salmonella microbe was detected:

The Health Services of the Ministry of Health have already informed the company distributing the foodstuff in question in the Cypriot market, with instructions to immediately recall/withdraw all quantities of the specific batch.

However, as some quantity of the batch involved may already be in the possession of consumers, they are advised to avoid consuming it and to return the packages to the places where they purchased them.

The Health Services are cooperating with the Veterinary Services to further investigate the matter.
