[PIO] Public works in Nicosia and Limassol Districts

1. Asphalt paving works in Malounta

The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period 8/1/2024-10/1/2024, between the hours of 08:30-17:30, asphalt paving works will be carried out on the road F951 X.0+000 - 0+780 (through Malounta).

During the works, one lane of the road will be closed for a length of approximately 150 meters and traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane (STOP and GO).

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that during the period 8/1/2024-11/1/2024, between the hours of 07:00-16:00, asphalt road maintenance works will be carried out on sections of the Limassol - Platres road (B8), near the village of Lania.

During the execution of the works, one lane will be closed in sections at any given time for a length of approximately 100 metres at a time and traffic will be alternately managed using "STOP and GO" signage.

3. Landscaping works on the Limassol - Paphos motorway

The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that the landscaping/planting works on the central island, roundabouts and green lanes on both sides of the road connecting the Limassol-Paphos motorway with the New Limassol Port (Vertical Road), are continuing as normal.

On Thursday 11/1/2024, between the hours of 22:00-06:00, micro-screening works will be carried out at the two roundabouts of Nikaia Street (New Limassol Hospital road) for the needs of the project, during which one lane in each direction will be closed at all times and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.

The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to show the necessary understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and the instructions of the Police.
