1. The Nicosia District Engineer's Office, Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that from Friday 8/12/2023 to Tuesday 12/12/2023, on sections of Strovolos Avenue from the junction with Athalassa Avenue to the junction with Kantara Street in the Nicosia urban area, the Municipality of Strovolos will carry out green maintenance works on the pavements as follows:
- Friday, Monday and Tuesday, 8, 11 and 12 December 2023, respectively, between the hours of 09:30 - 12:45
- Weekend 9 and 10 December 2023, between the hours of 07:00 - 16:00
During the execution of the works, the adjacent traffic lane on the sidewalks will be partially closed for a length of approximately 100-200 meters and traffic will be directed to the adjacent traffic lane.
2. The Limassol District Engineer's Office, Public Works Department, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that the landscaping/planting of the central island, roundabouts and green lanes on both sides of the road connecting the Limassol - Paphos motorway with the New Limassol Port (vertical road) continues as normal.
On Thursday 7/12/2023, between the hours of 22:00 - 06:00 in the morning of the next day, micro-digging works will be carried out for the installation of irrigation pipes near the roundabout at the junction of the vertical road with Pafos Street.
During the works, one lane of the roundabout will be closed at all times and traffic will be diverted to the adjacent lane.
The Department of Public Works apologizes for the unavoidable inconvenience that will be caused and urges the public to show due understanding and comply with the temporary road signs and police instructions.
