The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency (CAP) is pleased to announce that it has completed payments to the beneficiaries of Intervention A.A.1.7A "Animal Welfare - Goats and Sheep" of the Strategic Plan of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) of Cyprus for the programming period 2023-2027.
Intervention A.A.1.1.7A provides for the provision of financial support to sheep and goat farmers who undertake to implement defined actions within the framework of an annual good management plan for the welfare of sheep and goats.
The amount of € 2,938,975.38 was paid to the beneficiaries. 80% of the funding came from European funds and 20% from national funds.
