The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, in cooperation with the Cyprus Trade Centre London, participated with an information booth at the "London Tech Week" exhibition, which took place from 10 to 12 June 2024 at the Olympia Exhibition Centre in London.
London Tech Week is considered as the most important annual technology and innovation exhibition in the United Kingdom and a number of informative events and presentations were held on the sidelines of the exhibition, both inside and outside the event.
This year, the exhibition attracted 250 participants, including governmental pavilions from countries such as Dubai, Qatar, South Africa, Malta, Japan, Latvia and Hungary, as well as 30.000 visitors representing innovative and start-up companies, investment funds, research institutions, educational institutions and consultancy firms.
The Cyprus pavilion was visited by a significant number of stakeholders, who had the opportunity to learn about the advantages that Cyprus offers as a destination for technology and innovation companies, as well as the developments in the ecosystem that highlights Cyprus' potential as an emerging technology hub in IT and communication.
