Councillor Mrs. Christiana Erotokritou, member of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, will participate in the Meeting of Chairpersons of the European Affairs Committees of the Parliaments of the Member States of the European Union (COSAC), which will take place in Budapest on 28 and 29 July 2024, as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current six-month Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU). Ms Erotokritou will be accompanied by the First Officer for International Relations, Ms Hara Parla.
During the meeting, there will be an exchange of views on the programme and priorities of the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and on the state of play regarding the enlargement of the Union towards the countries of the Western Balkans and Eastern Europe.
