Mrs. Rita Theodorou Superman, member of the Cypriot delegation to the Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly (MPA), will travel to Athens tomorrow to represent the Assembly at the Athens Democracy Forum, organized by the Democracy & Culture Foundation, in cooperation with The New York Times, between 27 and 29 September 2023.
The Forum will address the challenges facing democratic governance, with the emergence of dangerous ideological and political fissures worldwide. Moreover, in the context of the Forum's work, the participating parliamentarians will meet for the first time in an "Inter-Parliamentary Group" format to exchange views on various aspects of the general theme of the Forum. Mrs Theodorou Superman will also, at the invitation of the Parliament, participate in a working breakfast, during which issues related to cybersecurity will be discussed.
