[PIO] Parliament's delegation will participate in the 24th Inter-Parliamentary Conference on CFSP and CSDP, in Vrygi

The Chairman of the Committee on Foreign and European Affairs, Mr. Alexandra Attalidou will travel to Vrygi on Sunday to participate in the 24th Interparliamentary Conference on the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP) and the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP), which will take place on 3 and 5 March 2024. The Conference is organised by the Belgian Parliament as part of the parliamentary dimension of the current six-month Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU).

The main topics of discussion will be the priorities and current developments in the areas of CFSP and CSDP, the situation in the Middle East, the provision of support to Ukraine, the EU enlargement process and the EU's Strategic Compass and Resilience.

In the margins of the Conference, the regular meeting of the parliamentary delegations of the EU's Mediterranean countries (GroupMed) will also take place.
