In the framework of an official visit of the Limassol Municipality delegation led by the Mayor of the city and under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus in Spain, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus Ports Authority, Dr. Stylianou will travel to Malaga, Spain today, Thursday 21 September 2023, for an official meeting with his counterpart Mr. Carlo Rubio. The meeting will lay the foundations for cooperation between the two authorities and agree on the prospects for cooperation, especially on issues related to the green transition of ports, the digitalisation of port operations and technological upgrades, challenges and perspectives. As part of the visit, the President of the Cyprus Port Authority will tour the facilities of the Port of Malaga and will have the opportunity to discuss operational, operational and regulatory issues with the relevant stakeholders.
In a statement, the President of the Cyprus Ports Authority said. Such actions, in conjunction with others that promote the importance of the Authority abroad, contribute positively to the strengthening of the image of Cyprus, especially in port and shipping issues and create the necessary synergies for the transition to modern methods of port management and supervision, in the context of modern developments in the port environment."
