The Cosmetics Sector of the Pharmaceutical Services wishes to inform the public that within the framework of market control, cosmetic products containing the substance butylphenyl methylpropional, which is prohibited to be contained in cosmetic products, have been identified in the Cypriot market.

More specifically, the products affected are the following.

The above products have already been recalled from the market. Please clarify that the recall applies only to these batches and not to other batches of the above products that may be on the market. Consumers who may be in possession of the above products are advised to discontinue their use.
