[PIO] New Edition: Foreign Trade Statistics of Cyprus (Volumes I-IV), 2020

The Statistical Office announces that it has published the annual report "Cyprus Foreign Trade Statistics (Volumes I-IV)" for the year 2020.

The report provides detailed data on Cyprus' foreign trade with its trading partners for 2020. The report consists of four volumes. Volumes I, II and III contain detailed data on the quantity and value of imports/arrivals by commodity for Chapters I-XX, X-XV and XVI-XXI of the Combined Nomenclature respectively and by main trading partner. Volume IV contains detailed data on the quantity and value of exports/remittances by commodity and by main trading partner.

The report also includes summary tables with time series on the evolution of Cyprus' external trade. More detailed data on Cyprus' foreign trade is available from the Statistical Office.

Total imports of goods (from EU member states and third countries) in 2020 were €7,642.1 million compared to €8,200.1 million in 2019. Total exports of goods (to EU member states and third countries) in 2020 were €2,746.6 million compared to €3,137.0 million in 2019. The trade deficit amounted to €4,895.5 million in 2020 compared to €5,063.1 million in 2019.
