The Ministry of Health continues its efforts to increase vaccination coverage of the population against COVID-19 and particularly to increase booster dose vaccinations, given its importance in boosting the immunity of groups of the population that are more susceptible to serious disease and hospitalization.
In consultation with the Minister of Health, Mr. Michael Hadjipandela and the Commissioner for Development of Mountain Communities, Mr. Kostas Hambiaouris, in collaboration with the community leaders of the wider region, on Saturday 22 January 2022, mobile vaccination units will be at the Health Centre of the community of Pachna and the Health Centre of the community of Kampos, to vaccinate the residents of the wider region of Krasochoria and Marathasa,[/B] for the vaccination of the residents of the wider region of Krasochoria and Marathasa.

Ministry of Health officials will be on site to inform citizens about the benefits of vaccination, as well as to answer citizens' questions and concerns regarding vaccination.
The following groups of citizens will be only eligible for vaccination by the mobile unit:
- Persons, aged 12 years and above, who have not yet been vaccinated against COVID-19 (1st dose administration).
- Individuals, 12 years of age or older, who have received the 1st dose of vaccine Moderna or Pfizer/BioNTech and the period required for the 2nd dose (Moderna 4 weeks and Pfizer 3 weeks) has elapsed.
- With regard to booster/3rd dose vaccination, persons aged 18 years and over will be served, provided that a period of 5 months and 2 weeks has elapsed since their 2nd dose vaccination.
- For persons who have received the Johnson & Johnson mono-dose vaccine, they will be able to receive a booster dose with mRNA technology vaccine (Moderna and Pfizer/Biontech).
As a reminder, all persons must necessarily present proof of identification (identity card, passport, alien registration card, etc.) and the vaccination card if they will receive the 2nd or 3rd dose.
