As part of efforts to strengthen the immunity of the population against measles, the Ministry of Health informs that the recommendations of the National Advisory Committee on Vaccination, according to the "National Child and Adolescent Vaccination Programme",are. [*]2 doses of the vaccine are recommended according to the schedule. [*]The 2nd dose is recommended at age 4 years, but the Commission's recommendation is that the 2nd dose should be given earlier, as long as 4 weeks have passed since the 1st dose [/LIST]
Note that children and adolescents who have not been vaccinated with a 2nd dose at age 4 years should make up this dose by age 18 years, or at any age.
