On the occasion of the presentation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' budget for 2024 today, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, to the Parliamentary Committee on Finance and Budget by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Action Plan for 2023-2024, which includes the following flagship actions. [*]Strengthening and institutionalising cooperation with neighbouring and other states. [*]Ensure adequate and qualified representation of the Republic of Cyprus in the institutions of the European Union (EU) and prepare for the Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2026. [*]Promote the Republic of Cyprus' accession to the Schengen area. [*]Promote the accession of the Republic of Cyprus to the Visa Waiver Program.
