[PIO] Minister of State for European Affairs to meet the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs

Deputy Minister of State for European Affairs Marilena Raouna will hold talks tomorrow with the Hungarian Minister for European Affairs János Bóka, who arrives in Cyprus tonight for a working visit at the invitation of Ms Raouna.

The Hungarian Minister for European Affairs will tour the Chrysaliniotissa area up to Famagusta Gate, and along the cease-fire line, tomorrow at 10 a.m., accompanied by Mrs Rauna.

Then, at 11:30 a.m., they will go to the Presidential Palace, where they will have a private meeting, followed by extended talks.

Among the issues to be discussed will be the plans of the Republic of Cyprus in view of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2026, as well as issues concerning the upcoming Hungarian Presidency.

At noon, Ms Raouna will host a working lunch in honour of Mr Bóka, who in the afternoon will visit the "Search and Rescue Coordination Centre" in Larnaca, where he will be briefed on the progress and plans under the "Amalthea" project.

The Hungarian Minister will depart from Cyprus tomorrow afternoon.
