A meeting was held on Tuesday 13 February 2024 between the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works and representatives of the SEK and PEO guilds, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Antonis Koutsoullis, as well as officials of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works, regarding issues raised by bus drivers with regard to the light marking system. At the meeting, the difficulties faced by professional bus drivers with the photolabelling system were raised in detail and a constructive discussion was held on ways to address them. It was decided to renew the meeting between the parties involved, in the presence of the Cyprus Police and the organised associations of drivers, for a precise explanation and resolution of the issues.
