[PIO] Meeting of the Head of Humanitarian Affairs for Missing and Trapped Persons Ms Anna Aristotelous with the Senior Adviser of the Peace Force

The Head of Humanitarian Affairs for Missing and Trapped Persons Ms Anna Aristotelous held a meeting with the Senior Adviser of the United Nations Peacekeeping Force in Cyprus (UNFICYP) Mr Aderemi Adekoya, who was accompanied by his colleague Mr. Munehiko Harada, UNFICYP's Civil Affairs Officer, in the context of strengthening and enhancing cooperation with the United Nations Office in Cyprus.

During the meeting, various procedural and other issues were discussed in order to address any potential difficulties in a timely and effective manner and to avoid unnecessary delays.

Further, humanitarian issues were discussed in order to improve the living conditions, daily life and overall quality of life of our interned and resettled people living in the occupied villages.

Both Ms. Aristotelous and Mr. Aderemi agreed to have regular information meetings in the framework of strengthening their cooperation.
