The Cyprus Human Resources Development Authority (CDA) has approved the Multi-enterprise Training Programmes, which will be implemented by Vocational Training Centres (VTCs) during the second semester of 2024.

Applications for participation in the training programmes are made through the "Hermes" system to the CECs before the start of the training programme or before the completion of 25% of the total duration of the programme. Relevant information can be found in the Plans' Policy and Procedures Guides on the ANAD website.

The programmes, which cover topics specified by the ANAD, aim to train and upgrade the country's human resources, contributing to improving productivity, enhancing competitiveness and developing the resilience of enterprises. The themes concern all sectors of the economy and all occupational categories. Among others, topics such as business management, new technologies and innovations, green and blue skills, renewable energy, energy saving, occupational safety and health, business continuity, training of trainers, digital skills and specialised skills in different occupations are covered.

The implementation of the training programmes is carried out only by AnAD certified VET centres, in certified Vocational Training Facilities (VTFs) and with certified Vocational Training Instructors (VTTs). In addition, unemployed persons registered with the Public Employment Service also participate in these programmes, with the aim of integrating them into employment by upgrading their knowledge and skills. 2,709 specifications were approved to implement 2,393 training programmes for the participation of 66,400 people at a total cost of €16.1 million
