"The role and responsibilities of the Office of the Attorney General and the Legal Service", in the framework of the programme "Internship in the House of Representatives"
The role and responsibilities of the Office of the Attorney General and the Legal Service of the Republic, spoke this morning in the House of Representatives, the Attorney General of the Republic, Mr. Giorgos L.
The students who attended the lecture were informed by the Head of the Legal Service about the institution of the Attorney General, the functioning of the Legal Service, as well as the various issues handled by the Law Sections of the Legal Service.
The students who attended the lecture were informed by the Head of the Legal Service about the institution of the Attorney General, the functioning of the Legal Service and the various issues handled by the Law Sections of the Legal Service. They also had the opportunity, in an open dialogue, to discuss and exchange views on topical issues that concern the public sphere and to receive answers to their various questions. A programme which aims to familiarise students with the work of the legislative body and to broaden their knowledge of the functioning of the institutions and the values of democracy in general. The programme is organised this year for the third consecutive year by the House of Representatives and is an initiative of the Speaker of the House, Mrs Anita Demetriou.
