With a view to providing faster service to the public of Larnaca city and district, by concentrating and simplifying procedures, as well as upgrading the quality of services provided to citizens, The Larnaca District Self-Government Organization announces the commencement of its operation as of July 1, 2024, pursuant to Law 37(I)/2022 on District Self-Government Organizations, implementing one of the most important modernizing reforms carried out in our country.
The main objective of the Larnaca EOA is to create an efficient, specialized, properly structured and staffed public organization, which will have the required expertise, weight and credibility to provide uninterrupted and quality services that it is called upon to undertake.
EOA Larnaca will provide water supply and sewerage services, while it will have the competence to issue Planning and Building Permits, as well as the competence to manage Green Spots. In essence, the Larnaca District Self-Government Organisation will take over the services provided to date by the Larnaca Water Supply Board, the Larnaca Sewerage Board and the Larnaca Household Waste Disposal or Utilisation Board (the latter will be in force from 2027), with the exception of Green Spots, which will be taken over immediately), with the parallel transfer of development licensing (planning permits and building permits) from the District Planning Office, the Larnaca District Administration and the Municipalities of our District.

Public Service for Water Supply and Sewerage issues (payment of bills, invoices, transfers, confirmations, change of data, applications for technical issues e.g. new installations, separation of plots, connection to the sewerage system etc.)

2. Citizen Service Centre
Payment of water supply/sewerage bills, invoices, transfers, certificates etc.

The aim is to operate from 1 September 2024 three additional Citizen Service Offices in the Municipalities of Athienou, Dromolaxia-Meneos and Lefkara.

EOA Larnaca assures the public of our city and province that it is ready to meet its mission in view of the Local Government Reform. To this end, it will make every effort to ensure the smooth operation of the newly established organization, without affecting the service to the citizen.
At the same time, the citizens of the city and district of Larnaca will embrace this innovation, showing the necessary understanding and support during the transition period to the staff of the Larnaca Local Authority, who have worked tirelessly and consistently in order for this reform to take shape and succeed.
