The Limassol District Education Office of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, with a special emphasis on culture, organizes the 4th Dance Workshop on the occasion of the World Dance Day, which is celebrated on April 29.
The aim of the workshop is to encourage and support the teaching of traditional dance in primary education, as a thematic unit of the Physical Education Curriculum and a necessary part of a general education, but also as a valuable cultural heritage. The aim of this workshop is to raise awareness of the importance of dance in our lives.
The 4th Dance Workshop will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Limassol Old Port Square, from 9:00 - 12:00. It was originally scheduled for Thursday, April 25, 2024, but was postponed due to bad weather conditions, especially due to high dust levels.
The 4th Dance Workshop is under the auspices of the Minister of Education, Sports and Youth, Dr. Athena Michaelides.
