34 companies from Cyprus, active in the processing and trading of agricultural products, participated, through a national pavilion of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry, in the International Food and Beverage Exhibition "GULFOOD 2022" held in Dubai, from 13-17 February 2022.
In the context of the Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry's effort to support in every possible way the penetration of businesses into new markets, Cypriot exhibitors operating, among others, in the sectors of steel mills, juices, olive oil, pasta, nuts, bakery and carob products, had the opportunity to hold meetings and contacts with existing and new buyers. The Arabian Gulf market in general is of great interest and the annual participation of Cyprus in the "GULFOOD" exhibition is particularly beneficial for Cypriot companies.
GULFOOD is one of the largest specialized exhibitions of its kind in the world and the most important in the Arabian Gulf. It is held every year in Dubai and is a benchmark for traders from all countries. This year's event attracted over 4,000 exhibitors and was visited by around 90,000 visitors from 185 countries.
