The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 11:00 a forest fire caused by lightning occurred within the Paphos State Forest, in the location of Platanias, in the Community of Gerakias. The fire was brought under full control at 12:00, after burning a small area of low wild vegetation.
