The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Wednesday 13 September 2023 at 17:50, a fire occurred in an area of the municipality of Ineia, Paphos district.
The fire was brought under full control at 18:25 after burning 4 decares of wild grasses and reeds.
2 fire engines of the Forestry Department with 5 persons participated in the extinguishing operation.
The exact cause of the fire is being investigated.
