The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that the fire that broke out yesterday, Saturday, 25/05/2024, at 16:00, within the boundaries of Anaritas municipality of Paphos district was brought under full control at 17:25, having burnt an area of 12 decares of low wild vegetation.
Three persons of the Forestry Department with one fire engine and four persons of the Fire Service with two fire engines operated to extinguish the fire.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
