The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that the fire that broke out today, Friday 24/05/2024 at 17:04 within the boundaries of Anaritas Community of Paphos District was fully controlled at 18:10, after burning an area of 12 decares of agricultural tree crops.
Three persons of the Forestry Department with one fire engine, two persons of the Fire Service with one fire engine, two persons of the Game and Fauna Service with one fire engine and four volunteers with an agricultural tractor were engaged in extinguishing the fire.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
