The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 12:30 pm, a fire occurred in an area of the Municipality of Pegeia.
The fire was brought under full control at 13:20, burning an area of one decimetre with low wild vegetation.
Four Forestry Department personnel with one fire truck and two Fire Department personnel with one fire truck participated in extinguishing the fire.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
