The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that yesterday, Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 16:55, a fire broke out in an area of the Community of Sia.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under control at 17:10, before it spread.
Six members of the Forestry Department with two fire engines participated in extinguishing the fire.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
