The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today at 5 p.m. a fire broke out in an area of Prodromi Community of Paphos District.
The intervention of the forest firefighting forces was immediate, resulting in the fire being brought under control at 5.30 p.m,
Two persons of the Forestry Department with one fire engine participated in the extinguishing operation.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
