The Forestry Department of the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment announces that today, Monday 21 August 2023 at 10:20, a fire broke out in an area of the Prodromi Community of Paphos District.
The fire was brought under full control at 10:50, after burning an area of four decares of low wild vegetation.
Forestry Department forces consisting of 15 people and three fire engines operated on the fire. The operations of the Forestry Department were assisted by the Fire Service with two persons and one fire engine.
The exact causes of the fire are being investigated.
