[PIO] Foreign Minister goes to Brussels for the EU Foreign Affairs Council

Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will travel to Brussels tomorrow, Sunday, 17 March 2024, where he will participate in the work of the EU Foreign Affairs Council on Monday, 18 March.

The discussions will focus on the situation in the Middle East, the ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine and developments in Belarus. At the opening of the meeting, the Foreign Ministers will have an informal exchange of views, via videoconference, with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. In addition, under the heading of current developments, the Ministers will review topical issues of foreign relations, focusing on the situation in Niger and Haiti, as well as Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

In the margins of the Council, Mr. Kombos will have contacts with his counterparts.
