Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos met today with Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen, who is on a working visit to Cyprus.
The two Ministers visited the "Zenon" Coordination Centre and the Port of Larnaca, which will be used in the framework of the implementation of the "Amalthea" project for the creation of a maritime corridor for the dispatch of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
During their presence at the Zenon Coordination Centre, Mr. Kobos and Mr. Cohen were briefed by the relevant services on their role and their readiness to contribute to the operational functioning of the Cypriot proposal, and then visited the premises of the Coordination Centre.
After the visit, the two Ministers made statements to the media.
