The Department of the Registrar of Companies and Intellectual Property (TEIDI), following its announcement dated 17 January 2024, informs about the following:
[*]On 29 January 2024, the amending Directive K.D.P.34/2024, which regulates the extension of the prescribed time of submission/confirmation of beneficial ownership data for all cases of Companies and Other Legal Entities, until 31 March 2024. At the same time, the obligation to submit additional information for companies or other legal entities whose shareholding structure results in a trust, foundation or other legal arrangement similar to a trust is regulated, again until 31 March 2024. [*]From 1 April 2024, non-compliance will result in the imposition of administrative and other sanctions, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Prevention and Combating of Money Laundering and the Prevention of Money Laundering from Illegal Activities and of the CPP112/21, as amended and in force. [*]Following the aforementioned regulations, TEIDI proceeds to revoke the fines imposed and refund the amounts paid. Specifically, TEHRI will make the necessary arrangements, in cooperation with JCC, to refund the surcharges paid from 01/01/2024 - 16/01/2024, directly to the card with which the payment was made, without any further action on the part of the applicant.
