The Cyprus Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts extends the deadline for the submission of nominations for the Young Scientist Award in Ethics, Economic and Political Sciences (Class C) for 2024, in all disciplines of the Class, which include theology, philosophy, law, political, economic, social and other related sciences.
The Award consists of a bronze medal and an honorary diploma and will be presented at the Academy's Inaugural Session in December 2024.
The Award is presented to distinguished and leading figures in the sciences with significant contributions and recognized achievements in their field. The Award is a recognition of personalities who are associated with Cyprus and make a decisive contribution to the development of the Sciences in Cyprus or abroad.
Candidates for the Award may be persons of Cypriot origin or citizens of the Republic of Cyprus, aged up to forty years, irrespective of their place of residence, or citizens of foreign origin permanently residing in Cyprus and who are leaders in their field with internationally recognised and significant contributions. In the evaluation process of the candidates, their contribution and contribution to Cyprus shall be taken into account.
A candidate may be nominated by any person(s) provided that the candidate is aware of the nomination of his/her candidature. Nominations shall be submitted by the nominator by e-mail to the Academy's e-mail address. This must be supported by a reasoned essay, a detailed curriculum vitae in Greek and/or English and any other supporting documents.
Interested candidates may submit their application online at info@academyofcyprus.cy, accompanied by the relevant information/documents, until 20 June 2024, 18:00.
