The Ministry of Tourism announces that within the framework of the operation of the Christmas Villages in Platres, Kalopanagiotis, Kyperounda, Agros and Kakopetria, there will be available and at an increased frequency during the holidays, experiential workshops for use by the public.
Specifically, from 23/12 and daily until 6/1, there will be pottery, painting, handmade jewelry, storytelling, shadow theater and Christmas crafts workshops at the festive squares. Local craftsmen will encourage visitors to make and taste mulled wine, zivania, honey, spoon sweets and Christmas sweets. Surprises, Christmas decorations and cheerful music will accompany the whole experience.
The workshop schedule is posted on www.christmasvillages.com.cy and there is no charge for public participation.
