The Directorate of Primary Education of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth, informs the parents and guardians of pupils of public Primary Schools and Kindergartens that the confirmation of registrations for the school year 2024-2025 will take place from 15 to 17 April 2024.
As in the previous school year, the confirmation of enrollment will be done electronically for all students of public elementary schools and for all children 46/12 years of age and older (date of birth 1/9/2018 - 29/2/2020), who have been approved to attend public kindergartens for the school year 2024-2025.
The Electronic Enrolment Confirmation Portal at https:/engrafes.moec.gov.cy/ will be accessible to all parents/guardians so that they can electronically confirm their children's enrolment from Monday, 15 April until Wednesday, 17 April 2024. Parents/guardians can also access this Portal through the online link (Banner) available on the CPS website: www.moec.gov.cy. The link (Banner) of the CFCA also contains a Manual for the use of the electronic platform for parents/guardians, which they can consult.
In particular, on 15-17 April 2024 the parent/guardian must follow the following procedure in order to confirm the registration of his/her child:

2. Select the Registration Confirmation
[/P]3. Registration by the parent/guardian:
- his/her mobile phone number,
- his/her email address - email (optional),
- his/her child's ID card number or passport number or ARC number (depending on the identification number registered with the school) and
- his/her child's date of birth in the format dd/mm/yyyy.
Please note that if any field requires letters to be filled in, these must be entered in Roman characters (English alphabet). Also, all numbers (personal registration number, passport, ARC, telephone number) must be written without spaces, without hyphens, slashes or periods and without leading zeros.
4. The System automatically proceeds to check and confirm the data entered.
a) Upon correct entry of the above information, the System will send a Temporary Password (OTP) to the mobile phone of the parent/parent/guardian/guardian.
b) In case the data was not entered correctly, a message will be displayed to re-enter the necessary data or to contact the child's school to confirm the above data.
5. Registration of the Temporary Password (OTP) in the System, in which case the student's details will be displayed.
6. To complete the registration confirmation, the System will optionally request additional information about the student. The parent/guardian may or may not enter this information. They must then select Confirm Enrollment.
Parents/guardians who have difficulty completing the online confirmation may contact the school their child will be attending in the 2024-2025 school year for assistance during business hours.
Parents/guardians who successfully complete their child's online enrollment confirmation will receive a message to their mobile phone and email address (if provided).
On 18 April 2024, schools will contact by telephone parents/guardians who are unable, for whatever reason, to confirm their child's enrolment electronically, so that, after securing their consent, the schools themselves can proceed to confirm the enrolment of the pupils concerned.
