[PIO] Elections 2024 - Turkish Cypriot voters' ballot

The Chief Electoral Officer invites Turkish Cypriots who intend to exercise their electoral rights to check and verify their inclusion in the special electoral list for the European elections, through the online service at https:/etv.elections.moi.gov.cy, by entering their Republic of Cyprus identity card number and date of birth.

Those not included in the special electoral list are apparently registered in the population file system with an address in the free areas of the Republic or with no address at all and did not respond to the information provided between last December and 2 April 2024, when the deadline for checking and updating their address so as to automatically acquire the right to vote expired.

Therefore, those who are not on the special electoral list are urged not to come to the special polling stations on election day, as they will not be able to be given a ballot paper to vote.

It should be noted that Turkish Cypriot voters who have submitted a declaration to exercise their right to vote in a city abroad have, like other voters, been removed from the Cyprus electoral roll and, therefore, their names do not appear on the above service.

For any questions or clarifications, voters may contact the Election Service of the Ministry of Interior at 22 867 640, 22 867 643, 22 867 614 and 22 867 714.
