The President of the Ecologist-Civic Coalition Movement, Mr. George Perdikis, arrived today at the polling station of the Dasoupolis Primary School, where he exercised his right to vote.

Afterwards, Mr. Perdikis made the following statement. I would say that with their vote they are also defending democracy, making the right choice, which is a democratic choice, a choice that strengthens democracy, that strengthens the participation of citizens in the electoral processes, the democratic ones. It is enough to remember the popular proverb that says 'where there is no one, there is no one's fate'. So let us not let others decide our fate, our destiny. It is the responsibility and obligation of each and every one of us to position ourselves today in a way that will be useful for our country and for each individual citizen."

Responding to journalists' questions, Perdikis said, among other things, that he did not find the election process difficult, adding that the staff working at the polling station was very helpful. "I think with a little effort and a little help from the staff, everything will go well. I hope and I hope we don't have a big turnout because, as I said before, today is Democracy Day, today with our participation we are fortifying democracy, with our choices we are fortifying democracy and this country is moving forward, it must move forward. It must leave behind the old, the status quo, corruption and corruption, it must move forward towards a future that ensures the rights of all citizens in conditions of security and democracy," he said.
