The General Electoral Commissioner announces that, in accordance with the current electoral legislation, during the sorting and counting of votes, the possession or use by the sorting representatives of the combinations / candidates of any ballot papers or forms for recording the results or stationery or the use of mobile phones is not permitted. The agents will be mere observers of the whole process, which will be carried out solely by the officials staffing the polling station.
It is noted that the presiding officer has the power to remove from the polling station any combination/candidate representative who violates the provisions of the electoral law without warning.
