The Chief Electoral Officer Dr. Elricos Ilias will make scheduled statements on Election Day, 9 June 2024, to inform the public in relation to the electoral process and voter turnout as follows:
7:05 am.p] - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement regarding the start of voting.
10:15 a.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement regarding voter turnout by 10 a.m.p]12:15 p.m.
12:15 p.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a declaration of voter turnout by 12 p.m. and the temporary closing of the polls.
1:15 p.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement for the resumption of voting at 1 p.m.
3:15 p.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement for voter turnout until 3 p.m.
5:15 p.m.
5:15 p.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement on voter turnout by 5 p.m.
6 p.m. - The Supervisor of Elections will make a statement on the close of voting and the possibility of publishing exit polls (EXIT POLLS).
6:15 p.m. - The Supervisor General of Elections will make a statement on the final voter turnout.
In relation to the final aggregate results and the elected Members of the European Parliament, the Chief Electoral Officer will make an announcement on Monday, 10 June 2024.
With regard to those elected to local government offices, the relevant announcements will be made by the relevant Supervisors of Elections.
