[PIO] Elections 2024 - No leaflets and slogans allowed

The General Election Commissioner announces that, in accordance with the provisions of the current electoral legislation, on Saturday, 8 June 2024, and Sunday, 9 June 2024, i.e. the day before and on the day of voting, it is prohibited to drop leaflets, hang banners, post signs and display slogans related to the elections.

Offenders are guilty of a criminal offence and, on conviction, are liable to imprisonment for up to one year or a fine of up to €5,000 or both.
