Following her recent visit to Australia for the black anniversaries of the coup and the Turkish invasion, the Deputy Government Spokesperson Ms. Doxa Komodromou conveyed to the Minister of Health Dr, an initiative by the Australian Hellenic Medical Charity and the Adelaide Cypriot Community to donate equipment to support the Paediatric Clinic of Makareion Hospital.
The announcement of the commitment of this donation will take place on Monday, 28 August 2023, at 3pm in the Cabinet Room at the Presidential Palace.
The meeting will be attended by the Minister of Health, the Deputy Government Spokesperson, the Director of the Makareio Hospital, the Director of the OCYPY, the Director of the Pediatric Clinic and the pediatrician-infectious disease specialist Dr. Maria Koliou.
Also in attendance will be the expatriate university professor, researcher, senior medical advisor to the above charity and President of the Cyprus Community in Adelaide Dr. Andreas Evdokiou.
