A doctor, who was facing four charges of indecent assault against a woman, was found guilty after a hearing at the Nicosia District Court. The decision was announced on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, by the District Court.
These offences were committed in August 2020, when the victim visited the defendant for a medical examination.
The Court, in a thorough and thorough decision, found the victim and all the other prosecution witnesses to be credible, while finding the defendant unreliable.
The sentence of the accused will be imposed by the Court at a later stage.
On behalf of the Attorney General of the Republic, the case was handled by Ms Elena Theodotou Demetriou, Public Prosecutor.
