[PIO] Direct Payments and Rural Development Interventions of the Cyprus CAP Strategic Plan 2023 and Exceptional Support Measure for the cereal sector

The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Agency (CAP) is pleased to announce that it has completed the payments to the beneficiaries of the Direct Payments and Rural Development Interventions of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plan of Cyprus for the programming period 2023-2027, for the year 2023.

These interventions are as follows:

1. A.P.1 Basic aid
2. A.P.2..2 Coupled aid for citrus fruit in the buffer zone
3. A.P.3 Ecological Programmes
4. A.P.4 Aid for young farmers
5. A.P.5 Redistributive aid
6. A.A.2 Natural or other restrictions by area
7. A.A.3 Areas with compulsory restrictions
8. Exceptional support measure in the cereal sector

The amount of €41,257,332.71 was paid to the beneficiaries of measures A.P.1, A.P.2.2, A.P.3, A.P.4 and A.P.5. The funding came 100% from European funds.

The beneficiaries of Intervention A.A.2 were paid the amount of €5,921,219.41. The funding came 65% from European funds and 35% from State funds.

The beneficiaries of Intervention A.A.3 were paid the amount of €26,835.75. The financing was 80% from European funds and 20% from State funds.

The beneficiaries of the Exceptional support measure for the cereal sector received €550,852.26. The funding came 100% from European funds.
