[PIO] Decree of the Minister of Transport, Communications and Works on electric vehicle recharging points

Targeting the transition to green transport and sustainable mobility in order to achieve the national target of reducing transport pollutants by 50% by 2030, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works is promoting electromobility and alternative forms of transport on the road network.

As part of the Government's broader plan for electromobility, a key pillar is the development of infrastructure for alternative fuels. Accordingly, the definition of the required safety at electric vehicle recharging points and technical requirements to ensure interoperability of recharging points is being promoted.

With the adoption of the Decree on the Promotion and Development of Alternative Fuel Infrastructures (Technical Requirements for Electric Vehicle Recharging Points), published in the Official Gazette yesterday, the Government reiterates its determination and readiness to create the conditions that will enable the reduction of the environmental impact of transport.
