Due to the severe weather phenomena observed in recent days, damage to agricultural holdings of plant production, mainly citrus fruits, potatoes and vegetables, was observed throughout the territory of the free regions of our island.
In order to deal with the situation as quickly as possible, officials of the Department of Agriculture went immediately to the affected areas to record all the damage and activate the National Framework for the support of affected farmers.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, recognizing the problems caused by the severe weather phenomena of the last few days, stands by our farming community and actively supports our farmers and livestock farmers in order to ensure the viability of their farms.
