The Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS) is pleased to announce the hosting of the President-elect of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) Mr. Riccardo Lama in Cyprus from 10 to 13 June 2024. This visit continues a tradition of more than 12 years of CENELEC Presidents Elect visiting Cyprus, strengthening relations and cooperation in the field of Electrotechnical Standardization in Europe.
During his stay, Mr. Lama will meet with stakeholders in the field of Electrotechnical Standardization and Energy in Cyprus. The meetings aim to inform him about the actions and projects of our country in this field, with particular emphasis on the innovative initiatives and efforts made to promote best practices and standards in this sector.
The visit of Mr. Lama's visit is an important opportunity for the exchange of views and positions, as well as for strengthening cooperation between European and Cypriot stakeholders in the field of Electrotechnical Standardization and Energy.
