The Cyprus Organization for Standardization (CYS) and the Cyprus Technical Chamber of Science (ETEK) have renewed for the tenth consecutive year their Agreement (Special Contribution) to facilitate access to standards by members of ETEK.
Through this Agreement, ETEK members are entitled to access free of charge the first three European (CYS EN, CYS EN ISO, CYS EN IEC) and/or national (CYS, CYS ISO) standards they purchase, as well as other benefits.
Beneficiaries are:
a) CYS members (natural persons), who have a valid professional license for 2024.
b) Those who have settled their financial obligations and, based on their professional status in the membership register, are unemployed, retired or resident abroad.
Members who meet the above criteria can register on the CYS online platform to access the standards by following the link below: https:/std-ol.cys.org.cy/RegisterEtek.
Note that those who have already registered on the CYS platform and have a valid professional licence for 2024 do NOT need to repeat the registration process on the platform.
The agreement for free access to templates is valid until 28 February 2025, and there is an option to subscribe to privileged schemes with a very low annual fee.
Through this Agreement, emphasis is placed on supporting engineers to specialise in standards, providing them with the opportunity to acquire new knowledge and skills in the field of engineering science.
