The Cyprus Agricultural Payments Organisation informs the agricultural world that it has made every effort and achieved the target for the payment of the 2021 payments before the Christmas holidays, despite the unprecedented conditions and exceptional administrative difficulties created by the pandemic COVID-19.
- Extensive subsidies to approximately 31,000 beneficiaries amounting to €41.4 million;
- Measure 13 of the Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which concerns support for areas with natural or other handicaps, to approximately 25,000 beneficiaries amounting to €5.5 million.
- Measure 21 of the Rural Development Programme 2014 - 2020 concerning exceptional temporary support to farmers particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic crisis amounting to €92,000
- Capitation grants for goat and sheep to 757 beneficiaries amounting to €5.5 million, of which €3.2 million related to the Voluntary Support for Goat and Sheep and the rest to the Transitional National Support for Goat and Sheep which was approved by the Council of Ministers.
